As any good automotive enthusiast in south Florida, I decided to take the day off and head to the Miami International Auto Show to go and see what’s what.
Here’s what I saw:
The C8 was there in both coupe and convertible forms, the latter of which was a Z51 with Morello Red leather.
My friend has already seen all the ones in and around Bowling Green , but it’s nice to see one in person myself.
Chevy honestly has a hit on their hands with this thing. As Ford biased as I am, even I want one.
Gimme.
The C8 Coupe was nice, save for the two tone blue interior.
These two got a lot less attention than I expected.
They had a 928S without an H982 FKL plate.
Der Kommissar brought his weekend toy to the show.
They had this very nice XJ40, presumably owned by someone in Boca.
To compensate for BMW’s absence, there was a local E24 M6 at the back of the convention center.
Cadillac brought a CT6 with the Blackwing, which my friend’s dad accidentally started after the Cadillac representatives told him to press the starter and brake pedal to turn on the accessory power to hear the sound system.
And holy shit, that thing sounds amazing.
The real star of the show was this mid-spec Ranger XLT in Saber, which shall be the Passat’s replacement.
I sat in it and got the feeling .
It’s seriously much nicer than I expected.
I look forward to driving one whenever I can.
The 2020 Shelby GT500 was present, but this one had vinyl stripes instead of the painted ones.
It’s about 10x more imposing in person. I also want this thing.
I couldn’t get a pic of the 992 Carrera S because some guy tried forcing the door handle to come out and set the alarm off.
Other than that, it was a relatively uneventful show.
I did enjoy the Lincoln Continental as always, but I honestly can’t think of anything else that stood out for me.

I said I’m Ford biased.
I never said I make any sense whatsoever.

I wouldn’t pay $10k for painted stripes on a Mustang. That’s Porsche option price territory.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

Green Gem Metallic King Ranch from OLO > new Ranger XLT. Also, you’re in Florida; every dealer is probably like them.
